This year Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day fall on our closed operating days.

We have decided to remain closed and allow our hard working staff the opportunity to celebrate these occasions with their family and friends.

Located in Kingscliff, Taverna is a boutique,
Greek-inspired beachfront restaurant.

Located on the beachfront on Marine Parade, Taverna is a Greek-inspired modern restaurant. With 60 seats adjacent to Kingscliff Beach, Taverna is the perfect spot for a long lunch, quiet dinner or beachside cocktail.

Designed to share, Taverna’s menu uses only the freshest produce from the local region. Every dish has been carefully constructed to take advantage of the best seasonal and Greek flavours. 

Daily we offer a 5 course feasting banquet and an a la carte menu, served progressively throughout an allocated 2 hour dining time.

Every Sunday night our Chef takes care of the menu for you with 'Chef's Sustainable Banquet'. A collection of 4 courses utilising the best local produce we have on site. This menu changes weekly and is selected by the Chef on the day - a chance to sample items from our a la carte menu and/or new menu items soon to be released onto our menu in a banquet style.

We operate on NSW Daylight Savings time.

Taverna Weddings 

Thank you for considering Taverna for your wedding. Located adjacent to Kingscliff Beach, our venue is ideal for intimate and exclusive weddings of up to 60 guests. Our menus are designed with the highest quality of local ingredients, combined with beverage packages catered to your needs. Our Team of talented staff will provide exceptional service to deliver a memorable shared experience with your guests.

Located close to the Coolangatta Airport and an array of holiday accommodation and resorts, Taverna is an ideal location for your wedding reception.

Taverna offers a selection of wedding menu options and drink packages that will help make your wedding day perfect. Our Head Chef and Bar Manager can help tailor our kits to accommodate any dietary requirements or in some circumstances, specific needs.

Taverna is available for exclusive use for weddings from Friday to Sunday, April through to the end of September. Due to our commitment to our restaurant clientele, Taverna will only be available for exclusive use From Monday to Thursdays at all other times.  All menus are served banquet style to ensure that your guests enjoy the food the way it was intended - through a shared experience.
